You don’t need a formal diagnosis to attend a drop-in session with Pathways. If you are aged 18 or over and struggle with your mental health in any way, Pathways can signpost you to other services, help you manage your benefits, and provide a wide range of support regarding your mental health. Drop-in sessions take place on Monday between 10am-2pm (no appointment necessary).

Gateshead Clubhouse aims to provide a service where people with mental health needs can access a range of facilities within a supportive and safe environment. This is where recovery and self-growth can be encouraged through the sharing of skills and abilities of all our members, with further encouragement and help from other associates. Our members can get involved in the day to day running of the Clubhouse and participate in a wide range of courses and activities.

Gateshead Recovery Partnership- (Change Grow Live )- Our mission is to help people change the direction of their lives, grow as a person and live life to its full potential. We can help with challenges including drugs, alcohol, housing, health and wellbeing.

Tyneside Integrated Musculoskeletal Services (TIMS) is a joint Newcastle and Gateshead service which offers self-care and fast access to expert opinion, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of muscle, joint and soft tissue conditions and chronic pain.

At Streetwise we provide a range of health and wellbeing support services for young people aged 11-25yrs

Our primary care navigator can support you in a number of ways. If you require advice or support with any of the following you can contact the surgery and book a telephone consultation with Carol Richardson. Carol’s role is to help you navigate your way around the many services available in Gateshead and find the one that will best meet your needs.

Our team of experienced workers support people to enable them to overcome their problems when they feel anxious, depressed or stressed. Gateshead Talking Therapies offer a free and confidential NHS service for people aged 16 and over who are registered with a GP in Gateshead. We provide a range of psychological therapies to help you feel better if you’re anxious, depressed, stressed or worried. We offer information courses, therapy groups and one-to-one therapy.

Gateshead Evolve is a drug and alcohol recovery service for all adults in Gateshead. If you, or someone you know, is concerned about drugs and/or alcohol, support is available.

We offer abortion treatments and free pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted infection screening and a fully comprehensive contraceptive service.
